What is this website?

‘Who Paid The Most’ displays the name of the person who paid the most and the amount they paid.

You can become the person who paid the most by paying more.

What am I paying for?

You are paying to become the person who paid the most, and therefore to have your name and the amount you paid on the homepage, until someone pays more. You can choose to add a message and link which will be displayed under your name.

What happens to the money?

All funds go to The Administrator.

Can I choose my display name?

There is an option in the checkout to choose a custom display name. If you do not enter a custom name, your billing name will be used.

Can I top up my payment?

Payments cannot be topped up once accepted, and are not cumulative. A separate payment will be needed in full should you wish to pay more.

Is there a minimum increment of payments?

You are free to choose any amount to pay. Paying as little as 1¢ more is enough to become the person who paid the most, but is considered bad etiquette. Equally, you can pay less than the most, but will receive nothing in return.

What currency does the site use?

The website uses USD ($) to determine who paid the most. Payments are taken through Stripe which supports 135+ currencies. Select the USD ($) amount you’d like to pay, and Stripe will charge you the appropriate amount in your own currency.
